A Child's Prayer

Dear God,

I pray You'll help me grow to be

the kind of child who pleases You,

a child who blesses others too.

Guide my step and guard my way,

help me follow You each day.

Give to me a faith that's strong,

teach me to choose right, not wrong.

Forgive my faults, both big and small,

 

protect my loved ones, bless them all . . . 

Throughout the day, 

all through the night,

enfold me in Your love and light.
