Country Red, White and Blue

                                               

I've often wondered if the stork's GPS was down that April day in '59, causing the delivery intended for Mr. and Mrs. Yoder in Lancaster (Amish counrtry), to land smack-dab in the city of Pittsburgh.  Or perhaps, there was a mix-up in heaven the day of my birth, and I was sent to the city by accident.  Whatever the case, I've the soul of a country girl.

So, when the talking-heads on the cable news shows start to make my head spin, and I'm all fed-up with secular-urban-chatter, I pack-up the pick-up, crank-up the country tunes, and head on out of the city for a little bit of down-home red, white and blue!
